These terms apply to your use of pivotum.ai and to any publication you buy from us. By using the site or buying a publication, you agree to them.

The AI Career Index is analysis and informed opinion about labour markets and technology, published for general information and to support family discussion.
It is not careers advice, educational advice, financial advice, or a recommendation to pursue or avoid any course of study or occupation. It does not take account of any individual's circumstances, aptitudes, finances, location or ambitions.
Our scores represent our assessment of exposure to currently demonstrable AI capability, using a methodology we publish in full. They are estimates, not predictions, and not guarantees. Reasonable people may reach different conclusions from the same evidence, which is why we publish the counterarguments alongside our own reasoning.
Labour markets, technology, regulation and hiring practice all change. Scores are revised each edition and may move in either direction. A score published today may be different in six months. That is the nature of the subject rather than a defect in the work, and we say so throughout.
Third-party data — including from government agencies, professional bodies and industry research — is reproduced in good faith and cited to its source. We do not warrant its accuracy and are not responsible for errors in it.
Decisions about education and careers are yours. We'd encourage anyone using our work to speak to careers professionals, to people actually working in the field, and to the institutions concerned.
What you get. Each purchase gives you the publications you select, delivered as PDF files by email, plus any updated edition of those same publications published within twelve months of your purchase.
Delivery. Files are sent to the email address given at checkout, normally within a few minutes. If nothing arrives within an hour, check your spam folder and then email us — we'll resend.
Your licence. You may read, print and use the publications for your own personal and family use. You may not resell them, publish them, post them publicly, or distribute them commercially. Sharing a copy with your own child, or with a friend making the same decision, is fine and expected.
Pricing. Prices are shown at checkout and include any applicable taxes where we are required to collect them. We may change prices at any time, but never for a purchase already made.
Because our publications are delivered immediately as digital files, you agree at checkout that delivery begins straight away, and that you therefore lose any statutory right to cancel once download has begun.
That said — if a publication isn't what you expected, email us within 30 days and we'll refund you. We'd rather you had your money back than a document you don't value. You don't need to justify the request.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any decision made in reliance on our publications, or for any loss arising from such a decision — including loss of earnings, educational costs, tuition fees, or opportunity cost.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the publication concerned.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Our free pages, newsletter and essays are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind.
The publications, the scoring framework, the site design and all associated content are our property or used under licence. The methodology is published openly so it can be checked, but publishing it doesn't transfer any rights in it.
You're welcome to quote us with attribution and a link. You're not welcome to reproduce a publication in whole or in substantial part.
Don't attempt to interfere with the site, scrape it at volume, or access parts of it you haven't paid for. We may withdraw access if you do.
We may change these terms. If we do, we'll update the date at the top. Changes don't apply retrospectively to purchases already made.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, and any dispute will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction.
If you're a consumer in the UK, EU, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection law, nothing here removes rights you have under that law.
